How it works

  1. Wrap the stainless tie around what you're securing and thread the loose end.
  2. Insert the loose end into the tool.
  3. Squeeze - the tool pulls the wrap tight to the right tension.
  4. Push the cutter lever down - it cuts flush at the head, no sharp stub.

Quick, tight and clean cable cuts

Pliers won't get these properly tight. This tool grips the loose end, pulls it to the same tension every time, and flush-cuts it without letting that tension go.

Doing five ties? Pliers will get you there. Doing a fence, a loom, or anything you need your other hand for - this is the tool for it.

Was doing it all with pliers and side cutters before and it was slow going. This tensions to a consistent tightness and flush-cuts the tail in the same motion - no more filing down sharp stubs afterwards.

Pulled tight, cut flush

Squeeze to draw the wrap tight through the ball-lock, then push the cutter lever - the tool holds that tension while it trims the end level with the head.

Cutter vs pliers: a flat stub against a jagged one. Easy to cut and tension with the tool, hard to cut by hand.

It's cut steel either way, so no edge is polished smooth. The difference is a tighter wrap with nothing sticking out of it.

Tight, then flush, without ever letting go - that's the whole reason this tool exists.

  • Huge time saver on a big job

Used this to fit a couple hundred ties securing wiring looms in a workshop rebuild. Would have taken me twice as long with hand tools. Comfortable grip even after extended use.

  • Solid tool, a little heavy for long sessions
    Chris B.Verified purchase

Does exactly what it's supposed to and the flush cut is genuinely clean - no sharp edges. It's a bit heavier than I expected, so my hand was tired after a couple hours of continuous use, but for shorter jobs it's excellent.

  • Pairs perfectly with the 304 stainless ties
    Rachel N.Verified purchase

Bought this together with the stainless cable ties as a bundle. It's clearly sized for that exact tie width - every one tensioned and cut cleanly with no fiddling or readjusting.
